This is what you do after you get error 38, don't push x. Open you ps2 tray for 6s and close it.

If you bypass it, no community features will work. That mean No map packs and your stats are not going to be counted.

this will also work if you get the server 9 error.

Tried getting on last week and ran into that ridiculousness...My station is soft-modded...still gonna work?

It not going to work with a soft modded ps2, but you can just login now. The error 38 is gone for now.
